Queensland
There are branches of WEL in all the Australian states and territories. Becoming a member of a state/territory branch automatically makes you a member of WEL Australia. Regional groups recognised by the relevant state/territory branch are also recognised by WEL Australia. The National Coordinating Committee is WEL’s management body, and consists of women appointed by each state/territory WEL. Members of the National Coordinating Committee are appointed on an annual basis and additional members may be co-opted. The National Coordinating Committee coordinates national campaigns and activities for WEL Australia, based on WEL National Policy, via the state/territory branch members. Each state/territory of WEL Australia has its own executive committee and state/territory based constitution and policy. The ACT representative for WEL’s National Coordinating Committee is Heather Blinkhorne. Please use the contact us form to contact the QLD branch of the Women’s Electoral Lobby.
