WEL has been a feminist advocacy and lobbying organisation for 40-years – and we owe our success to our members.

We offer members the chance to get involved in the work WEL does – from meeting with politicians and key influencers to help change government policies and legislation, to helping to draft our policies, to organising events and fundraising.

• Financial Empowerment

• Reproductive Rights

To volunteer with WEL you need to:

• Become a WEL member

• Have a proven interest in our campaigns and a passion to improve women’s rights and be willing to help promote them

• Be in a position to offer your time to volunteer

• Be able to work with others to achieve our goals

• Have a sense of humour

It’s not necessary to have lobbying or campaigning expertise to volunteer with WEL but it is essential to be willing to learn!
