Donate: Think WEL before you vote: community education
WEL is helping women make their vote count. Given women voters outnumber men, women's votes can decide elections. We are holding face to face voter education forums in marginal electorates, as well as webinars to explain about changes to federal senate voting in 2016, why voting below the line is important, and how to work at poling booths on election day.
We are also hosting forums for first time voters (those who have just turned 18, or recently arrived adults who may not have voted before), and those who have voted before but want to know more about making their vote count at election time.
If you'd like to hear more or request a table topics forum or webinar in your area, please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org.
