WEL advocates for equality for all women.

WEL is a member organisation incorporated under the Associations Incorporation Act 2009 (ACT). Membership of WEL entails timely payment of membership fees, support for WEL’s objects and policies and compliance with WEL codes of conduct when participating in WEL activities as a WEL member or speaking for or acting on behalf of WEL. Sex designation or gender identity has never been a barrier to WEL membership.

WEL affirms that it is an inclusive organisation. We are cognisant of our obligations under Commonwealth and ACT anti-discrimination legislation. Consistent with this legislation WEL advocates for equality for women who identify as women, with or without regard to their designated sex at birth.
