With our recent success in decriminalising abortion in NSW, we have shown what can be done when determined and passionate feminists work together. Although that fight is won, there is still much work to be done, particularly around violence against women and homelessness and housing affordability.

The number of people wanting to volunteer their expertise spiked during and after the reproductive rights campaign and so we are having an evening to get everyone together. More hands on deck are always welcome!

WEL cannot do the valuable work that it does without members and volunteers. Right now, we need to maintain the momentum from our reproductive rights campaign and keep fighting for equality for women and a better future for all. Will you be a part of it?

Come along to our Information Night, to learn more about the history of WEL and help us overturn more of the injustices that hold Australian women from realising their full potential. The night will cover current WEL campaigns and roles you can fill.

If you are not in the Sydney area, please still sign up to volunteer on our website, as there are roles you fill as well. https://www.wel.org.au/volunteer

You don't have to be a woman to volunteer, we welcome all genders!

Snacks will be provided.
We hope to see you there!
