Women and children fleeing domestic violence need women’s refuges. These are essential NSW services. Underfunding is forcing many refuges to turn away women and children.

I care about what happens to women and children who bravely say no to violence.

I support the Women’s Electoral Lobby campaign for secure, long-term funding for specialist women’s domestic and family violence refuges in the Commonwealth/State Agreements now being negotiated.

I call on the NSW Government to match the Victorian Government's funding commitment so the lights can stay on in women's refuges and experienced support workers can deliver the necessary services.
