Women’s refuges save lives - spread the word!

Women’s refuges save lives. We request that the Prime Minister act swiftly to agree to a long-term secure separate national funding program for women’s refuges to ensure women and children escaping family and domestic violence have a safe haven and access to specialist services to enable them to rebuild their lives.

The withdrawal of funding led to more violence and more psychological suffering for desperate women and vulnerable children. Meanwhile Big Business is still tax evading. Government should be for the people and a measure of its’ integrity and validity is it’s care for the most vulnerable.

How many Australian women have died to a terrorist this year? Over 70 because the real terrorist live in the home with them not in some cave in Iran or Iraq.
